Sustainably manage forest plantations

The ecological, economic and social functions of natural forests are the subject of legislation and Principles, Criteria, Indicators and Verifiers (PCIV) for sustainable management.

This objective of good management now extends to intensive tropical forest plantations. It also applies to diversified plantations.

CIRAD supports politicians and the various actors in the design of management methods adapted to tropical planted forests.
