  • ATAD (Alliance Technique d'Assistance au Développement) is an association for development and advocacy on public policies and strategies.
    The Alliance Technique d'Assistance au Développement (ATAD) was set up by a constituent assembly on December 9, 2000. Its objective is to support the local initiatives of communities for the development of the resources of their environment in order places the promotion of local development.

    More specifically, ATAD wants:

    • Contribute to building the capacities of communities so that they are the true architects of their development;
    • Provide efficient delivery services in the areas of local development.

    ATAD works in the following sectors:

    • Food Security and Natural Resource Management;
    • Emergency relief;
    • Public health, hygiene and sanitation;
    • The fight against social inequalities (violence, exclusion, etc.);
    • Good governance [monitoring of public policies, …;
    • Education and capacity building;
    • Human rights.
