    Montpellier SupAgro offers students and professionals two engineering courses and a wide range of training courses listed in the European LMD standard (Bachelor's, Master's/Master's, Doctorate). The training courses are ISO 9001 certified for their administrative and educational management.

    Research and innovation

    Montpellier SupAgro contributes to developments in agronomic research thanks to the involvement of its teacher-researchers in 22 joint research units and 4 joint technological units. The Montpellier SupAgro scientific teams work in close collaboration with the major research organizations based in Montpellier (INRAE, Cirad, Ird, etc.) and regional higher education establishments (University of Montpellier, Paul Valéry University, University via Domitia de Perpignan, CIHEAM -IAMM…). It also manages two experimental agricultural areas (viticulture, sheep farming, olive growing) dedicated to R&D and exchanges with professionals. Transfer and development are carried out through the AgroValoMéditerranée business incubation site, a shared platform for setting up and supporting development projects in partnership with INRAE and INRAE Transfert.

    International opening

    Montpellier SupAgro is part of a long tradition of opening up its training and research internationally . It welcomes 23% of international students on its campuses, 60% of whom come from non-French-speaking countries. The signing of academic exchange agreements with many establishments located in some twenty countries opens up broad mobility prospects for students and teacher-researchers. Framework agreements for cooperation and educational exchange have been signed with establishments present in some thirty countries in order to set up training support systems. The establishment coordinates two international consortia, supporting Erasmus Mundus-labelled masters.

    Members and Partners

    Montpellier SupAgro is involved in various regional, national and international institutions of which it is a founding or associate member, in particular Agropolis International, Agropolis Fondation, Agreenium, the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles (CGE), the Collegium of Directors of Grandes Ecoles de la Languedoc-Roussillon region (CODIGE).

    Foundation and chairs

    The establishment is the initiator of the first French university foundation in agronomic sciences "SupAgro Fondation", of the UNESCO World Food Chair and three business chairs : AgroTIC, AgroSYS, Elsa-PACT. It also promotes with its university and scientific partners major projects selected by the State, such as the four Laboratories of Excellence including the Labex Agro labeled under the “Investment for the Future” program and I-Site MUSE.
